Sensitive..... advice please

I’m 5week 5days pregnant still taking 6 Progynova a day and 4 utrogestan vaginal pessaries a day. Me and my partner tried to have sex for the first time last night and it hurt and felt really weird, to the point we just left it as my partner said it felt swollen inside aswell.

Is this normal??

Hi lovely, we haven't really had sex since I've been pregnant (I'm nearly 12 weeks) because the one time we did try at about 6 weeks I had a really bad burning sensation during and afterwards, it felt like everything had swelled up down there. I think it's just because of all the extra blood flow!

It did make me worry a bit but it's one of those awkward things you just don't want to ask a GP about. I think if it happens again next time, I will probably mention it to my midwife x

Yes I’m going to mention it at my first scan on 29th I think, I thought it was maybe the pessaries with the latex as we used a condom (due to the white mess) xx

Could be anything! Pregnancy is so mysterious 😂

Hey hun, I was too scared to have sex and worried that I’d just overthink the whole thing & not enjoy it. In the end I just decided to completely hold off until the second trimester (probably over-kill but I was just too worried so took it off the table - hubby understood so all was fine) xx
