Hi everyone sorry its me again, just another quick question if anyone could give some advise please, my partner has been advised to take proxeed because he has a low sperm count 12 million, and also low morphology 1%, I was wondering if he should take folic acid like me as well, the clinic hasn't mentioned it but I've seen stuff online that it can help in the sperm department? Thank you again in advance โบ๏ธ

Some advice please ๐
hi he donโt need to take folic acid but yes he needs to take proxeed one schtay in the morning with orange juice and one in evening in orange juice. Keep same gap of time in between. Like if he takes in the morning around 8.30 or 9 then same evening around 8.30 or 9 . No any milky food with it. Proxeed is amazing make sure definitely take twice a day. Also take 500mg vitamin c while taking proxeed. Also take high dose vitamin d and omaga 3 as well. Also try to take ubiquinol solgar 200mg . They really helps in count .

Take folate instead of folic acid as it depletes vit b12 & can cause miscarriages ..Check both your vitamin B12 ,thyroid ,vit D,zinc levels.Serum vit b12 requires to be over 550 pmol/l otherwise there is a deficiency .Good levels of vit B12 & Vit C & D are essential for fertility for male & female.Vit B12 supplement methylcobalamin can boost sperm count of 20 to 100 million .Unfortunately the covid vaccine is causing infertility in males & females.
There is no real evidence that covid has any effect on fertility NHS advice is still important for everyone to keep up to date with their covid vaccinations

Okay thank you everyone for your replies x
Men need folic acid too. Only version of folate studied to prevent neural tube defects. Our clinic and all NHS consultants were definite on this.
Folic acid does *not* cause miscarriages, it prevents any losses due to neural tube defects.
