BFN and then BFP?

Hi! Today I had my beta at 14dp5dt and it was a BFN. Talk no my doctor and told to repeat the beta at 18dp5dt since there could be a chance of late implantation. What do you think? Any positive similar stories? Thank a lot!!

Hi hun I'm so sorry for your BFN 😥 they are truely heartbreaking. I dont know why your doctor would say to redo a blood test at 18dp5dt if your blood test was already quite late and negative at 14dp5dt. My clinic does bloods at 9dp5dt for a fresh transfer and 10dp5dt for a FET and if its negative then that's it. There should be HCG in your blood by then if the embryo took. I'm really sorry but highly unlikely it will change. I hope you have some frozen embies or can move forward with another round. Sending big hugs 💕 xx

Thank you very much Niki! We don’t have more frozen embios and we have azoospermia on our side. Will go with plan B now. I’m so sad! This was our second transfer, first one end at 12week! Hope to feel better in the next days.

Hi Limmma

We had our bfn on Friday for our only embryo also. Ours was 9dp5dt and was just told it was negative with no mention of a retest.

I've been thinking the last 2 days since the results that maybe it was too soon as heard of people testing later but reasoning in my head I think I know I'm out.

Now as you say plan b.

Wishing you all the luck in your next steps xx

Hi Limma, I don't know what the chances are, but if your doctor advises it is probably worth trying? Everything on this journey is so tough ad the losses are heartbreaking. I hope you feel better soon, much love xx

Sorry to hear. Seems odd to me. I had a beta 11dp5dFET and it was 5. High enough to classify as pregnant but so low I’ve already miscarried or will soon. They asked me to stop my drugs and retest next week to ensure it’s out of my system. Think they call it a chemical sometimes...
