Mild ivf after 2 failed ICIS cycles

Hello ladies,

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. I’ve had 2 failed NHS funded ICIS cycles and now looking for a private clinic for a 3rd cycle.

1st cycle - 8 eggs, 4 blastocysts. 3 x negative and 1 chemical pregnancy. Had my stimms medication increased during the cycle as follicles were slow growing.

2nd cycle - started on higher dose of stimms meds. 8 eggs collected. None made it to blastocyst 😢 transferred 1 poor quality embryo and result was negative.

Trying to figure what to do next, I’ll be 39 in Aug and beginning to feel time is running out 😢. We have been told unexplained infertility and all tests have been ok. I’ve researched mild ivf and just wondering if anyone else has gone on to have mild ivf after failed medicated cycles and whether it was successful?

Thanks xx

Hi Claire. Sometimes this can be the better option, as you seem to get eggs that almost want to come out, rather than are forced out. Kinder on you ovaries too, so perhaps worth a ry. just wanted to wish you well with whatever you do decide. Diane
