Am I to old?

I'm 47 and longing for a baby.

Have been with my current partner for 18months very much in love but fear it's too late..

You never know, however it is harder to get a pregnancy for us ladies in our 40s and more so a viable pregnancy. Have you sought any tests out so far, seen your GP for bloods etc? I dont know if its an option but you could seek out doing fertility treatment privately and could consider donor eggs which would increase your chances dramatically.xx

ITs never too late. Yes, it will be a little hard but you will have to be determined and strong. If you are in a hurry maybe visit a doctor and get a screening done. They will really help you a lot. Good luck to you. Stay positive. Sending baby dust your way.

I saw a lady on this morning programme who was 50ish I think and she went to Cyprus used donor eggs and ended up with 5 babies

Hi I’m 44 and just had little girl. My Amh was low so went with donor eggs as time wasn’t in our side. Wishing you lots of luck xxx

I know 2 ladies who had babies last year both natural conceptions. One was 47 and the other 49. I know is harder in your 40s but not impossible. Good luck xx

Never too late if you go to a good private IVF clinic! I wouldn’t give up!

It mainly depends on your AMH levels, you might see your doc to discuss your situation. If you want to increase your chances of a successful and healthy pregnancy, you might consider doing PGS NGS testing. Good luck

Hi! Have you been trying to conceive naturally? I would get some blood tests done at your GP surgery to check your ovarian reserve and then that will probably tell you a lot about which option to take - ivf with your own or donor eggs. Donor eggs massively increase your chances. Have your partner tested too. There’s always options - it’s never too late - good luck and ask away on here xx

It is never too late. I'm 46 and I recently conceived naturally. Unfortunately I had a mmc at 8 1/2 weeks but after 3 1/2 years of ttc I'm still hopeful that I'll have a successful pregnancy.
