1dp5fet officially started the 2WW

So yesterday we had our first fresh transfer. We got to the clinic, bladder already uncomfortably full 😳 then they said there is at least a 20 minute delay. I had to have a mini wee to relieve some pressure 🤣 and then another, as the delay was more like an hour in the end, but luckily my bladder was still full when I went in.

The transfer went smoothly, our embryologist picked her favourite egg, we had two she classed as good grades, one AB and one BA - she opted for the AB egg so we are all fingers crossed. We got the call to say we have 5 others that successfully froze so they are on ice for the future too.

I had some pre and post transfer acupuncture and I also listened to the Zita West positive relaxation then got on with life and went out for dinner and watched take that’s last night of the tour at the cinema 🥰 let’s see what the next 11 days have in store but love to hear from anyone else at the same point 🤞🏻

Heya, so glad everything went well! Same for me Although for my surprise the embryologist suggested to put 2 in, and we did 😱 We also didn’t have as many frozen. Only 3 which made me a bit worried but hopefully I won’t need them. Specially if we got twins!!

Hope these couple of weeks go super quickly for both of us with amazing news by the end of it xx

Oh wow that’s so exciting! So glad it all went well and double 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you. In fairness we are only 1 chance different as it’s basically 6 in total but we just only had the 1 in 😳 very exciting times so sending positive thoughts and hoping for a super quick wait to that hopeful result xx

I have my transfer this morning! Day 3. I’m still in a bit of pain from the egg collection on Friday so not keen on having a full bladder! This is our second time and this time we have 2 top grade eggs they want to use. I’m 41 so they suggesting transferring both. Good luck with your 2ww.

Hello..all went ok thank you we had the two put back in and now just playing the waiting game! I’m trying to carry on as normal but it’s quite hard not to think about it all the time! How are you getting on?

I’m at work and it’s as though I haven’t been through the whole process. I feel totally ‘normal’ which I don’t know if that is good or not. I’m busy mentally at work so it isn’t giving me the time to think too much but was very emotional a couple of nights ago 😳 another 8 days to wait 😱 I really have no indication if it is good or bad, just wish I had some kind of symptom or a sign of hope. Good luck and hope you have a stress free wait x
