Bhcg dropped from 1200 to 900. Is it over for me

Called back to clinic for repeat bhcg today and they have dropped from 1200 to 900. Was told to expect a miscarriage but they will repeat in 48 hours

This journey is overwhelming. BFN followed by what I thought was AF only to then get a BFP a few days later. Then some tummy pain so they looked for ectopic but couldn't find one. bhcg was 1200 so thought it was ok and just following me up. Now bhcg starting to drop. They said it's not dropped as much as they expect so they aren't sure but most likely will continue to come down!!

IVF is exhausting and a rollacoaster of emotions. Anyone have experience of repeated HCG ? Is it over for me?

I'm so sorry to hear your news! Unfortunately when your hCG drops it's like that your pregnancy is failing. Huge hugs.xxx

Sorry your going through this 😢 my hcg was 17500 and rose to 23000 after a few days at 9w and still rising but the pregnancy wasn’t developing just a sac so had to have a MVA in the end 3weeks later. If it’s dropping then miscarriage will happen unfortunately I’m so sorry x

I’m waiting for my miscarriage to happen, my hcg was rising at the right rate up to 600 then was left for 4 days and only went to 700... I think because tests went darker over those 4 days it rose above 700 then started to fall back down. I was told to stop all my pessaries on Tuesday as it was not viable.

My tests have since got a bit lighter so I can see it’s failing. I have a scan Monday if I haven’t bled yet.

I’m sorry you are in this situation, I hope for a miracle for you but it isn’t good news I don’t think xx

Thanks hun. Hope all goes ok with you and the repeated blood test. The uncertainty is soooooo hard! X
