Today was my official test date and it’s negative and bleeding has increased. Although we expected it, it’s still devastating. After 6 years of trying. We were so hopeful this might help us
Does anyone know if they do tests as to why there’s no implanting?
Thank you for all your support over the last 6 weeks ❤️ Really means a lot and appreciate it xx

They might to an era to determine if you transferred at the right time. There are still some tests they can do now. Hysteroscopy, microbiome test. Progesterone levels etc. Did you have your embryos pgs tested? Sometimes implantation failure is a chromosomal issue...sorry it's not worked out.
So sorry to hear this, I know how devastating it is 💔 No they dont do any testing unless it's been multiple failures. 9 times out of 10 the embryo is just chromosomally abnormal. While an embryo can look perfect it can still be abnormal. Look after yourself during this sad time, big hugs xxx
When you say it was almost perfect it sounds like they only graded the embryo and didn't pgs test out for chromosomal issues? My top graded embryo was actually abnormal when tested. Pgs testing is very expensive but it saves heartache from the start and I'd recommend you ask to have yours tested during the next round to be safe. Only a thought though xx
Yes like I said a perfect looking embryo can unfortunately be abnormal. If PGS testing in New Zealand wasnt so expensive I would have done it. I think it costs about 2,500 per embryo. Ridiculous.
Wow that is crazy! Cheaper to fly to London or somewhere and do it. I'm a kiwi but I live in London and it costs £400 per embryo but you also need to pay for time lapse and a one off £950 fee to do it. One round of IVF plus pgs testing 9 blastocyst has cost us around £13,500 which is also crazy expensive when you convert it to NZ $ and we have to pay it all ourselves. Still, I think it's worth doing it rather than a few rounds of IVF without it...similar price in the end perhaps?
So sorry to to hear this news sweetheart 😢 it’s heartbreaking. Please take good care of yourself - you will get your bfp one day ❤️🌈 always here if you want to talk xxx
I’m so sorry. There are lots of options including some which have been menctioned above. Unfortunately there is no test which can guarantee anything. My consultant says 70% of failures are due to an incompetent embryo and half of embryos which look normal actually aren’t. A lot of it unfortunately is luck x
I am so sorry to hear your sad news 😢 it’s heart breaking 💔 take good care of yourself. Allow time to heal. Mine is unexplained. I’ve had NK cell testing, a 4d scan, lots of bloods and all normal. I’ve looked at the genetic testing and think it’s a good option. Be kind to yourself. Xx
I’m so sorry to hear this. Sending you love and massive hug. This whole journey is super stressful and a lot of it with minimal explanation. Take some time to rest and relax ❤️
I’m so sorry! it’s hard, it’s also something I keep asking myself, why are they not implanting! Sigh.. I’m also not too sure what tests we can do, guess it’ll be pgs to see if they’re chromosomally normal.
Take some time to relax and don’t stress too much!
