Starting meriofert Friday

Hello!

Just wondering what everyone has been told to do/not do during stims? My clinic haven’t really said anything and I forgot to ask 🙈. Will ring them later but just interested in the advice given?

Hey there! I was told not to swim, high risk of infection. I was also told not to do strenuous exercise including running mostly because they did not want strain on the lower abdomen and they didn’t want anything to take away blood flow to that area. My nutritionist and the nurse had said if in doubt do it. I am sure the ladies here will have more to add but the above activities are part of my daily routine so I asked if I could still do them and it was no. What I was told though was to increase protein intake. I am a veg but she says try to get it up to 80g of protein a day. Also as you are growing your little eggs she encouraged inositol, CQ10 and antioxidants... it’s worth a go!

Thank you! I’m not doing much running at the mo because the Buserelin gives me headaches! But I do like yoga and spin so hoping to continue these.

I got told to ease off on the exercise, high intenstity training is not advised. Your ovaries will get enlarged when you do stims and you are at risk of doing yourself damage. Spin classes are classed as high intensity so you may want to step away from them. Just be mindful when doing your yoga.xx
