5weeks 3 days today, been having a weird pain in my abdomen, feels a bit like a stitch to the right side of my belly button and down a bit. Wasnt concerned film I had a little brown/beige discharge (which wouldn't have concerned me either if they had come separately) Any how, regardless of rationalizing with myself I decided to do another weeks indicator test and it's now showing 3+ which I really didn't expect due to it being very diluted and only held for an hour ish and had 2-3 weeks two days ago with fmu 😱 I never had a 3+ reading in my pregnancy last year so I'm hoping this is a good indication that were growing well. Hopefully I'll start to relax a little more after my scan on Friday xx

I hope things go well for you. You shouldn't take too much stress. It is not good for you. Just wait till Friday for the scan. That will really answer all the questions for you. Just make sure to visit the doctor if you think you should. Good luck to you. I hope things go smoothly.

I had a lot of stretching pains around that stage. It might just be round ligament pains. Best of luck with the scan. Hope time goes quickly for you.

Hey lovely.

I had lots of twinges & cramping especially in the early weeks. It’s usually where the uterus is stretching which is a good thing as it means baby is growing 🙂 also it can be when you feel bloated/ constipated which is very common in the early weeks.

I also had lots of spotting between 6-14 weeks mostly brown but I did have fresh blood with clots at 10 weeks. I never got an explanation for the bleeding except it was nothing to do with my baby.

I’m now 38 weeks.

Lots of women have twinges & spotting & everything is fine. It’s only when you are doubled over with abdominal pain with heavy bleeding like filling a pad every or less should it be a concern ( that’s what my midwife said she wasn’t even concerned by brown spotting! I was 😳)

It’s horrible seeing any form of bleeding after all you’ve been through it to get here.

My GP advised me to rest up until the spotting stopped like bed rest.

Maybe your clinic or GP could arrange a early scan at the early pregnancy unit to ease your mind- the earliest they can scan is 6 weeks. Some places allow you to self refer mine requires a GP referral.

Hope it eases soon xoxo

Oh I know its only my womb stretching and I'm pretty confident it's just the pessaries irritating my cervix Haha, but the other 25% is like hmm.. do a other test 😂 I feel pretty calm this pregnancy (which coming from me is a miracle), last time I was so paranoid but I think I knew there was something wrong last time. My scan is on Friday anyway when I'm 6 weeks, like I say I'm not too worried but just had s moment and just tested to reassure myself Haha xx

I had horrendous pain around that time, doubled over - it would build up and then taper off, also had a lot of brown discharge for about three weeks. I was convinced it was all over and clinic did repeat bloods to check on a Friday so I spent the weekend in tears nervously waiting for the results on Monday. All was fine much to my surprise and I am currently 33 weeks.

Wishing you all the best on you baby journey, cramping and discharge isn’t always a bad sign ✨
