Unfortunately, first-round IVF was negative. Got a meeting with a senior consultant to discuss options. I have a blastocyst - 1 frozen egg so I would like to try another round. What questions should I start to think about? I just want to be prepared. One of my questions is what is % success of frozen egg thawing correctly. Thanks, any advice would be helpful.

You could maybe ask what kind of frozen protocol you are having, down regulation or no down regulation. My clinic say that there’s only a 5% chance of the embryo not thawing properly. Good luck with your consultation xx
Down regulation means you take injections from day 21 of your cycle to shut down your ovaries. Then after you have a bleed you start the medication to begin preparing your lining for transfer. It’s less common for frozen transfer than short protocol I think. I’ve done both because my clinic said that for me there was no evidence it would make a difference to success. Short protocol is cheaper and quicker x
