Hi all.

We have andrology on wed to try and get sperm samples from my OT to freeze.

He has retrograde ejaculation , I’m just worried that they won’t be able to obtain a sample as he has to drink stuff during the appointment , the pressure of giving a sample , aswell as bursting to urinate is not ideal

What will happen if he doesn’t manage to give a sample ! Can they remove direct from testes ?

My partner has retorograde too. Has he tried two or three pseudoephedrine (Sudafed) tablets about three hours before ejaculation? My partner can provide a small sample good enough after taking Sudafed. It unblocks the passage.

If not, they can extract from his testicles no problem. It’s called TESE and PESE x

Hello.

Yes we have tried the Sudafed method by never been successful. He usually manages to get a tiny sample himself before it shoots up into his bladder , and then they will just extract from urine. But I don’t think he will manage with all the pressure. Fingers crossed but at least they can directly extract. Thanks. X
