Feeling Hopeful for egg collection this week

Had a scan this morning and i am not quite ready yet so, another scan on Wednesday and hopefully egg collection will be this Friday. Read so many different stories of how you will be after egg collection, am i silly to think i can come back to work? Its a desk job and work do know whats happening. I am extremely bloated and have sore boobs, is this normal?

Hey! Fingers crossed for EC later this week. I would take the full day off and see how you feel after. I had EC on Friday and still a bit sore if I'm honest. Back to work but trying to mindful of how my body is feeling.

Well done you made it this far, if you egg collection is on Friday you will have the weekend to recover so you may be able to go back on Monday. However ai was surprised that bloating doesn't go away after EC, and progesterone pessaries actually made me feel worse. I was expecting to feel all back to normal after EC and it was a nasty surprise for me. Everyone is different tho so you may be fine. Good luck hun xxx
