I think it depends on your clinic. Mine started off at 12.6 which they said was a bit high. I got it tested again and it was 9.6 and they were fine with that. Good luck! x

Thank you for your replies. Mine came back as 10.8 and I have started to panic I got no options left.

For my NHS cycles, my FSH had to be 12 or below. Unfortunately I had a blood test when I was a week late for my period (pretty sure it made my hormones a little crazy) which resulted in my FSH being 14. Luckily my consultant wanted to retest before putting a block on our NHS cycles and when it was retested on my next period cycle, it was well within the normal (I think aroun 8/9). I think usually they call it a day 2 blood test but the blood test can be done on any day between 2 - 5 of the cycle. What does yours have to be, do you know? xx

Thank you so much for your replies. It says it’s normal on my blood results with the range being between 6.2 and 13.8. However I thought it was high as above 10 & thought over 10 meant my ovarian reserve is too low for stimulating enough eggs. Did you get AMH test done as well? I’ve only just been referred to a clinic so still early days but been worrying that they say it’s too high and can’t do any treatment

Yes I also had my AMH test done (I've had 4 tests done, the test itself is not reliable as mine rose - feel free to read some of my earlier posts) and any questions feel free to ask. But my AMH is low for my age. I thought FSH was also an indicator of quality so if this was too high, it indicates poor quality, hence the cutoff xx

Thank you I will have a read of your earlier posts and if you don’t mind I will probably private message you to find out a bit more about your experience
