On day 1 I got told to expect a call on day 3 regarding grading and further progress on our embryos. Today a nurse called me to book me in for a transfer on Monday.
I asked the nurse when I would be getting my update on my embryos? She said it should be shortly as they have been busy. That was 4 hours ago, I’ve been calling non stop and emailing and can’t get through as they are closed.
I’m currently sat in tears and quite frankly don’t need to stress. Has this happened to anybody else?
I’m not sure how they can book me on Monday without telling me how many embryos made it past day 1 since the last update? I believe they are also closed tomorrow - this weekend is going to be absolute hell on earth! 😫

Have you heard back yet? I had something similar with my beta results. Went in first thing for bloods and was told I’d get a call back at mid day. I couldn’t get through and didn’t hear from them until the following afternoon. I was an absolute state by then.
So hope you hear soon, no point in telling you to keep your mind off it because that’ll be plain impossible! Xx
Please try to reassure yourself - if they called on day 3 to book you in for day 5, it must be that they are very confident you’ll have good embies for Monday! Honestly! They would have got you in today if it looked like you only had one or two in the running as they would have probably popped them in today xxx ♥️
Thank you for the advice it’s helped, as you know most of the info is guess work on the first round and I haven’t been through this before so I’m driving myself mad trying to guess stuff 🙈 I’m hoping I get a decent amount as I would be over the moon to get some frozen as I’m sure most of us would 🤞x
Hi Orla, managed to track them down, I had 12 top grades on day 2 so hoping for a decent number tomorrow but will still be a partial surprise I guess. Oh god I know, thank god us ladies have each other for support and advice ❤️❤️❤️ X
It's very frustrating. I had something similar, although mine was a freeze all cycle. No updates between fertilization and day 5. I was quite stressed out until I remembered my Dr telling me the plan was to freeze them but if they didn't look like they'd make it to day 5 the plan would change. No news is good news in these circumstances, but the waiting is hard. Best of luck with your transfer on Monday xxx
It’s so frustrating when the clinic don’t give updates, as it manages your expectations in advance. They actually answered today randomly after many calls and gave some crap story - but at least I managed to find out. Hey hun. It is very frustrating I would get mad as well omg. After all the stress you need to put up with and this on top can make you go crazy. But like the others say they booked you in for transfer so most probably your embabies are doing well!

I managed to get hold of them today and they made up a rubbish story about how they don’t check day 3 or 4 despite telling me otherwise. I had 12 top grade embryos on day 2 🤷♀️
The embryologist said we should at least have two really good ones from these ones which made no sense. I guess I will find it more tomorrow.
Did they really say that?? You need to have a good go on them tomorrow 🙈 but make sure if before the transfer, after the transfer just relax and enjoy life 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
