Hi ladies I'm jus wondering (maybe panicking) but what does was anyone on if they have pcos. And did it create follicles. 🙄🤔

Kinda worrying that the does will be too low. Xx

Hi, I don’t actually have PCOS but have a high AMH which they say is indicative of some PCOS. I’ve been prescribed 150 Menopur twice a day, I think they can increase it though after scans and how I react.

They just play it safe at the start so you aren’t over stimulated x

Heyy hun. I'm with pcos and my amh is 30.15.

Ist round i was on 75iu Menopur and 37.5 Ovaleap, 20+ follicles and 4 eggs retrieved

2nd round 75 Menopur and 75 Ovaleap, 30+ follicles and 7 eggs retrieved.

I was the same I was worried it was too less and it won't work. But with pcos they need to be careful for ohss and I think lower doses are quite common.

Hey, I hope you are well. I dont suffer from PCOS so I can't say much. However, people are usually given menupor as the first dose that too very less. As immediately a lot is not good. The doctors have to monitor the progress very carefully. Good luck to you. Sending baby dust your way. I hope things go well for you.

Trust in your doctors, they're basing your dosage on your circumstances. I was on 225 UI, ended up having to reduce the dose twice and still had to freeze all due to OHSS risk.

Better to increase the dose as you go to get a stonger response imo. On the plus side, pcos preserves egg quantity and quality for longer so don't worry about not having many follicles. Good luck and hope you have success xxx

Hi lovely, I have PCOS and started with 150iu Menopur on 1st May, had 1st scan Mon 7th which showed lots of follicles but all pretty small (less than 6mm) so they increased to 225iu, scan Weds showed little growth and they added 75iu Bemfola, had another scan Fri where my lining has thickened and follicles grown a little (biggest 2 were 10mm) and now I’m on 300iu Menopur 75iu Bemfola...next scan Monday so hopefully more growth then! I think with PCOS they do monitor closely and increase gradually due to risk of OHSS xx
