I've been funded for ivf due to myself having pcos. Being trying for 6years now. However I have been given tablets to induce bleed to start. But I am now panicking weather my period is going to arrive as not had one in 5 months plus if it will land on a weekend. Does everyone get panicky about starting and when it does. Never thought I would be so anxious to want a period.

Every time!! I think waiting for your period can be one of the most stressful parts of the cycle. You get all excited to start and stressed thinking about what's to come then it messes with your period. Hope all goes to plan for you! x
That is very stressful indeed. I am sure a lot of us can relate to you. It can be very stressful. I hope everything goes according to the plan. Just dont stress a lot as its not good for you. I hope the IVF process works for you. Sending baby dust your way.
So many women find that when they want their period to arrive for IVF, it messes up around. Mine turned up 4 days early which totally stressed me out. I had everything all planned out to the day and that went up the spout. If I've learned anything from going through IVF, it's that pretty much nothing will go to plan, so you just have to go with it (so much easier said than done mind you!). Best of luck xx
Hi Jesschesh. You will be anxious while you're waiting, but rest assured your period will start. Fingers crossed it starts at a sensible time. Clinics are used to this happening, so they will look after you. Good luck! Diane
