If you get your surge on an evening/afternoon, does that still class as day 1?

Hi, with my clinic if I have a positive ovulation test in the evening they count the following day as day 1.

Ok, thank you so much. I had the surge this morning but also this evening. I know this morning counts but for a second I wondered which one was the one I went by Xx
