I'm London based and keep hearing about people (mainly in USA) using human growth hormone to improve quality of eggs...does anyone have any experience of it? Any side effects? Which one did you use? Are you U.K.based? Is it just a daily injection alongside stims? How much did it cost roughly? Recommend it? Thanks

Hi Fingerscrossed38 I was proposed Human Growth Hormone by my clinic and was skeptical, I'd love to hear if anybody else tried. I'm very afraid of side effects.
Hi, I'm not sure what the side effects are? I would definitely do it if I was recommended it as lots of people who've struggled to produce higher quality of eggs have had success using hgh...let us know how you get on xx
I would be interested to find out as well! My doctor in Belgium (trained by T. Hertoghe) prescribes HGH along with other hormones. Last time I was offered it I decided to wait until I could find out more. I am not interested in the anti-aging effects of HGH per se, but have read about people feeling amazing on it.
However, many sites warn about the dangers of using HGH unless medically justified, which makes me hesitate. In the US, it seems supermodels and movie stars use it to remain eternally young, hence the many warnings. But the side effects I've read about seem to concern mainly people either overdosing as they see it as fountain of youth, or buying it on body building sites and self-medicating, not knowing how to use it properly, while a hormone expert would be expected to prescribe the lowest dose required. So not sure those risk would apply to someone under the care of a hormone expert...?
It's also said to be extremely expensive (and, of course, it won't be reimbursed if prescribed as an anti-aging treatment).
Thierry Hertoghe writes in his book "The hormone solution" that he has been on it for years and that it's the hormone he'd be least willing to give up.
