Iui treatment plan

Hi guys I go for my iui treatment plan on April 23 rd to discuss medication and our next step I know this probably sounds silly but does it matter that I will be on my cycle and do you normally start the hormone medication during your cycle ? Any help I’d appreciate xx

Hi Noah1981, the appointment is probably just to plan in when you actually start. They will look at your cycle dates. When I did IUI I took Clomid days 2-5 of my cycle and then had a scan on day 10 to check my follicle sizes, you then start ovulation testing and you go in on your ovulation day or up to 24 hours after I think. Your partner will then do a sample and they clean it and then insert it on the same day. Its all very romantic! lol. Good Luck xx

Hi. I had my 3rd IUI on Friday there. Iv always has my first internal scan during my period and start my injections the same day xx
