8 Eggs collected, 5 fertilised.

Good Morning, had my EC yesterday it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. They collected 8 eggs which was good (I think) as I had only 7 follicles showing at a decent size on my last scan. I have just had a phone call to say that 5 have fertilised and are being moved into the time lapse machine for observation. Does anyone have any advise on what to expect next? I have been listening but its so much information to take in, it feels a bit overwhelming x

I am really sore today after ec; my ovaries feel like they've been punched! The scientist has told me there's a 90% chance they will still be growing tomorrow so everything crossed for us both xxx

Hi Rach82, I am surprisingly ok just a bit sleepy still. I think you had a rougher deal however its obviously working. Positivity and many fingers, legs and eyes being crossed for you xx

After my EC I waited about 6 days until they confirmed how many eggs were eligible to be frozen. I opted to do the genetic testing, so I had to wait an additional 2 weeks to find out how many of those made it. Good luck <3
