2ww... Can I get my nails done?

So fingers crossed Tomo we get to have our FET if it all goes to plan... Just wondering during the wait can we get our nails done?

Hi

I am sure lots of ladies do it and end up having healthy pregnancies.

I personally wouldn’t to avoid exposing the embryo to chemicals that are not necessary.

Some books about fertility discourage ladies to have their nails done whilst ttc.

I had mine done in the 2ww. If it’s just polish/shellac I would go for it, would probably avoid acrylics and the like though as the chemicals can be quite strong xx

Personally, I avoid exposure to all chemicals during treatment - even nail polish. I want to give my embies the best chance possible, and if that’s with chipped nails, so be it! Wishing you lots of luck x

I personally wouldn't because I am at the stage of looking at all chemicals that I put on my body as well as things I eat etc etc. Think it's just what you are comfortable with as different people will have different ideas. Wishing you all the very best for the transfer x
