Best thing to do on sensitive days is give facebook a miss if all it does is upset you.

Of course you are envious when you see others getting things when you don't and that's natural to feel like that.

A lovely quote. This time next year I hope I’ll be a mum or a mum to be. Maybe I need to go on that show for Davina McCall to sort it for me - This time next year I WILL be a mum. If only I could walk off through those doors and come back through them 5 seconds later with a baby in my arms!

Hubby and I watch Grand Designs and can’t believe how many pregnancies and babies are announced most episodes. We always used to say that’s what we need to do, go on Grand Designs!

It’s not easy. Far from it. When you do get there it will be worth it and you certainly deserve it xx

You’re right - they always have babies in the middle of building work and give themselves so much added pressure to get finished before babies arrive - just wait until you’re in your lovely new house! Xx

We had a nice tranquil day despite some sadness initially and stayed away from the fancy restaurants that do mothers day spreads and had a nice long walk instead and it was nice and tranquil and stuck to the basic places for late breakfast who don't rip you off staying away from lunchtime and I don't think we missed much as there's lots of other opportunities to go out.
