Premature Ovarian Failure- told NHS don't support egg donated IVF. So now what?

Hello everybody, this is my first post here.

a little background on me, was mis diagnosed with POI when i was 14, they said it was normal for my period to stop, and it was sadly to late to collect any of my own eggs the time i was 18 when they said nope we were wrong it was POI.

Anyhow im almost 30 now and looking to start a family. My partner and i were signed up to a waiting list 2 years ago after a visit to the gynecologist for IVF. 2 years later didnt hear anything back so in jan went to the doctor who referred us to a fertility clinic part of our CCG.

We went there on Monday and everything seemed fine asking me normal questions and then suddenly a doctor comes in and quite abruptly says donor egg ivf is not available on the NHS. we were in such shock that we just left. They said the only way we can do this is to fund it ourselves.

My partner has done some research and we have found that it seems some CCG's in certain areas will fund egg donated IVF. We are so torn and confused by all this and have no idea what to do now.

Please can anybody who has POI or used donated eggs funded by the NHS give us some advice on this.
