Wow I am just googling that now. It says between 200-400mg for fertility. I would take anything that would help. I’ve ordered some NAC. X x

I'm the same I'll do anything for a baby! I've just had a failed cycle with 2 follicles and no eggs xx

So sorry to hear that, it feels so unfair doesn’t it. I had a failed FET found out today and I had 3 follicles collected and an undeveloped egg not a blastocyst on day 5 with a 5% chance of success. Definitely I would do anything, I can change many things diet and supplements. I just didn’t have it in my head that it would fail. Have you had your review or follow up? X x

How are you getting on with dhea? Do you mind me asking where you got it from? It seems like an undecided when I’ve researched it , I can’t make out whether to or not. Thanks for replying and I hope things go well for you. X x

I’m getting on well with dhea been taking it for over a month now my consultant said it’s only worth taking it if you take it for a couple of months before treatment! I ordered some online from biovea and last month I went to the U.S so picked some up while I was out there as it’s more widely available! As I have a low amh and endometriosis the consultant said it would help the quality of my eggs !

Hope this helps

Also my consultant wants me to use testogel during treatment as this shows positive signs of improving egg quality ! We know we won’t get many eggs but if they are good quality it gives us more of a chance xXx

Do you buy all this online? That’s crazy hearing Testogel is recommended, Tostran 2% gel is exactly the same as a dose dose (50mcg) assuming you are just using one gel patch per day. I think I might wait 3 months until my next ivf, i don’t know what the normal wait process is. We’ve just had our first failed fet with not one making a blastocyst so I will try anything! My Amh is 12.1. So typically normal I’m 30 and no fertility issues. Definitely the quality seems to be what the fertility unit concertrate on. Glad you have such good recommendations, is it private you are doing?( if you don’t mind me asking) ours is nhs and we have one cycle left so want to make it count. You seem to be really clued up on what to do goodfor you xxx

Hi

Yes we are going private atm we tried one clincic and they were awful met my consultant now and she had so many different things she wants me to try to make our cycle a success makes me feel more confident ! The testogel I have to apply once a day ! She also put me on a Mediterranean diet as it shows signs of helping fertility ! The testogel we are getting prescribed by the doctor ! Dhea you can buy online !

I was really lucky to find the consultant I have now as she really does care and is very clued up on all the latest research and what can help our chances ! The one clinic we went to all the consultant cared about was the money was really negative and no help at all !

Really hope it helps maybe you can ask the hospital you are undergoing treatment if they will prescribe you testogel for your next go ?

Start my treatment in a few more weeks so scary ! xXx

You have such a good success and a fantastic positive start. You seem to really have a great and helpful consultant, glad it all is going well I’m sure your treatment will be a breeze as you sound very prepared. Oh no, at least you found someone good. I am going to look at purchasing some dhea. Xxx

Just to add - DHEA should only really be taken on advice from your doctor. If your levels are low (can be determined via a blood test) then it’s worth it, otherwise you should steer clear.

Thank you for that. I did some research and I think I’d rather take medical advice before I tried it as it looks as though it can be damaging as well. Thanks for adding that thou xx

My doctor recommended COQ-10, Omega-3, and pregnacare (or similar). I mentioned I took fish oil and she was adamant that it had to be Omega-3. Said this is was backed by research. She also had my vit D levels checked and would have told me to take that if my levels were low.

As well as all that I take Royal Jelly and Bee Propolis - I don’t know if they’ll help with fertility like they’re supposed to but they have definitely had a good effect on my skin!

Royal jelly seems to be a popular choice so I think I’ll go for that too. I’ve ordered NAC and ubiquinol 200mg.

So In all I’ll be taking

Pregnacare

Omega 3

Vitamin C

NAC

ubiquinol

Thanks for replying and here’s to a positive outcome to us all x x x
