Guaranteed Blastocysts from Fertility Clinic

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could help and offer some advice. We are currently looking at clinics in Spain to undergo an Egg Donation Protocol. I'm 44 and due to many reasons, we have decided this is the best course of action for us.

However, 2 of the 3 clinics we are looking at say they will guarantee at least 2 blastocysts embryos, whilst the other said they don't and in fact kind of turned their nose up at this kind of claim. Can anyone offer any advice as to whether this is worth it or not? and Should our decision to use a particular clinic be led by this kind of guarantee?

I do understand the importance of an embryo reaching blastocysts but achieving pregnancy with a live birth isn't necessarily down to the embroy reaching blastcyst befrore ET for an IVF/ ICSI/ED

I would be so gratful if anyone has any experince of using a clinic who gurantees this and what was their outcome and what happened if the desired Blastocyst were not reached. Is there any pitfalls I need to look out for? Anything I should be asking the clinic etc

Sorry not sure how to help but can say i messaged Gennet clinic in prague for info and price list and they were very helpful and informative. I believe they also provide a guarantee so if you e-mail their clinic and ask about the guarantee im sure they can answer your questions. I believe thet may have some info on their website too.x
