Some guidance on hcg levels plz😩

Hi guys!

So it’s all moved quick since my positive test last Thursday! They booked me in for an early scan today as judging by my last period I should be 6 weeks today! However I think I’ll be earlier as my cycles on clomid were either very long or short! I think I’ll only be around 4 weeks! They scanned today and didn’t see anything other than a cyst in my womb by the looks of it 😩 and said that’s probs causing my cramping! They took my bloods and my hcg was 267! Does that sound about right for 4 weeks! I’m getting more done on Friday to check it’s going up and I’m super early and not miscarrying! So nervous and scared! 😩xxx

Hey hun, I’ve just checked online for you and looks totally normal for 4 weeks.... 😊 fingers crossed your scan is just a little early and you get to see your baby bean🤞🏻. did they say anything about the cyst? Xx

Thanks lovely I’m just so nervous! Totally bound to be in our situations! They didn’t say much in the cyst just that they needed to keep an eye on it. I know love, fingers crossed we get to see lil bean soon! I have a thick lining which they said was good xxxx

Hi there, you need to repeat your blood test, one value doesn't mean much, in early days (i.e., until the HCG level reach beyond 2,500) your HCG level should double within 48 hours.

Over 25 is a positive. As others have said, the number doesn't matter too much, you want to see it doubling every 48-72 hours. You won't see anything on a scan until 2,500 so it was strange that the clinic even did one.

Anyway, good luck with friday. Hopefully you are right with the dates and you will see a healthy rise.

hcg should double every 48hrs.
