Instead of a rant this evening, I tried to write a poem.

[Faith27]

Fed up of always pretending to be fine,

Fed up of believing it will soon be our time.

'Relax it'll happen' is the advice people share,

Although it doesn't really help, it's nice people care.

---------------------

'You have time on your side, it'll all work out',

Is difficult to comprehend when you have seeds of doubt.

---------------------

Positive. Negative. Up and down,

A smile drawn on your face each day like an entertainment clown.

---------------------

The road to parenthood isn't as easy as first thought,

Feelings of mixed emotions - happiness and distraught.

---------------------

Holding onto any glimmer of hope,

While figuring out your own unique way to live life and cope.

---------------------

Your pride and dignity went out the window a long time ago,

Blood tests and vagina checks - anything now goes!

---------------------

We're a tough group of people all trying to conceive,

Some of us sadly walk carrying a heavy heart filled with grief.

---------------------

We all have our stories... our journey scars,

Physical or mental.. it's so bloody hard!

---------------------

Here for eachother, strangers unite,

Infertility sucks - especially during the wake of the night.

---------------------

One things for certain, were a determined team,

It's true what they say, you have to fight for your dream!

Hahaha I can't say that it's ever been something I've enjoyed.. I think I've wrote 3 pathetic poems in my life time haha this one was purely how I'm feeling with a rhyming word on the end lol xx

Awww thank you lovely. It's true, were all in it together!! It did help me feel a bit better about things. Having a bit of a wobble this month with a few things non fertility related! But got my appointment next week for Gaenacologist so fingers xd for a plan of action
