So I’ve been given my estimated date for frozen embryo transfer which we are so excited and nervous about! I have also been invited to a family members hen party weekend the following week. I am uncertain as to whether I should go as I had planned to really take it easy for those two weeks. But I’m not sure if I’m being over sensitive? Any advice would be welcome! I know it sounds trivial but I don’t want to let her down and I don’t want to do anything that could jeapodise this transfer. Xxx

Oh that’s a tough one! All I can suggest is that you do what’s right for you. If it’s a chilled out hen do where you will get to relax & enjoy yourself then fab - if it’s doing a load of stuff that you’re not up for or feels too much then do what’s best for you. Might be a good distraction but only if it suits you. Am sure your friend would understand. My sister had a friend who couldn’t come to her hen during adoption planning -she totally understood xxx

Thanks for your reply 😊 my relative in unaware that we are currently going through this process which makes it a little more tricky, but like you say it may be a great distraction 🙂xxx

Hi hunny, if we get to transfer it will be this Friday, and I’ve got a wedding on Saturday and the weekend after we’re going abroad for a long weekend! These have both been planned for so long, so I’m going to do both but if I start feeling tired I’ll just have a little chill out. The biggest downside is everyone else will be drinking whilst we’re away and I’ll be a sober as a nun!! 🙁 but hopefully it will all be worth it x x
