Had a phone call in the morning so from my 4 eggs one wasn't mature, one was abnormal 2 fertilized vut didn't develop properly.. Soomy first ivf cycle os cancelled ❤ Now looking forward to my follow up consultation! Xx

Oh that’s devastating... that happened to me with my first cycle, nothing to transfer.
Stay hopeful though, I’ve also had a round where I got 6 eggs that made 5 blasts!xx

Sorry to hear that hun! Happened the same to me 2 weeks ago. Had 3 eggs retrieved but 2 not matured and one fertilize but not developed. Wonder why they didn’t mature and developed. Our clinic couldn’t explained regarding this matter. And my period comes early. We trying again soon. Baby dust to us both! Good luck
Im so sorry you've been through that as well. I was kinda prepared for this outcome. My follicles weren't developing right. Ad honestly i don't eant to grieve because this will make me feel worse. I will call on Monday for followup consultation and see what happens next 😍😊🤗

Ah sorry to hear this. I hope you’re able to get some answers at your follow up appointment. In the meantime perhaps you could take a look into extra supplements such as DHEA. I have never used it but many of the ladies have as it’s supposed to improve egg quality. It can’t hurt to look into xx

So sorry to read this, the same thing happened to me on my second round.
Take some time, but there is lots they can do, I have had different drug regimes which made a big difference.
To give you hope, my third round I went on to get 3 day 5 blasto’s from the 3 that fertilised, this was after only 1 day 3 embryo on 1st cycle and a nothing on the second cycle.
We also used the Zita West IVF diet (it’s a book you can get from Amazon) which I think made a difference too. The food is super tasty and my eggs were much better quality, so a win win.
You are such a positive lady, which will stand you in good stead.

I know exactly how you feel, I was the same with my first failed cycle and even the same now with various things going on.. At least when you are in the cycle you feel like you are doing something positive. Well done for rallying! I could try (I think) as soon as post cycle period had finished so literally the next month - really hope its same for you xx

Hubby semen analysis has been really good. We are on different supplements recommended by the clinic, lots of vitamins, we stopped smoking and drinking. Maybe it was just not our time yet 😍😊🤗 Im ready for next round hahaha. He even said this morning "Don't worry if the cycles here don't work we can always go to Turkey" (he is Turkish btw). He is really supportive and in such a hard time i love him even more 😍😊🤗xxx

I think i read that on the day your hubbus sample wasn't great? Maybe that was it and next time it'll be your time xxx
Yesss. His semen analysis were great last time but recently he was under so kuch stress and worked so hard so maybe all affects it. Next time will be better 😍😊🤗xxx
My husbands was opposite - his sample weren't great to begin with so they took a frozen sample of his a few weeks/months before the cycle
On the day of cycle he gave fresh sample which was perfect! But if it wasn't they could use his frozen sample instead so no delays.
So might be worth asking your clinic about a reserve frozen sample from your hubby too x

it happened on my first IVF too. Only two eggs retrieved, none fertilised.
My recommendation is to ask the doctor or the embriologist what are the possible causes of the missing fertilisation (sperm quality/egg quality), if you need further testing or ICSI. In my case, only one egg was enough mature but it was just bad luck with ICSi. When we tried some months after that, we managed to fertilised 1 (but did not end up in bfp) and with our last ivf we managed to freeze 2 embryos. We’ll transfer them in February.
Don’t give up hopes, every cycle can be different 🌷
Our bodies are different each month anyway. Im not putting myself down for one fail and i don't even accept it as a fail but life. Next time will be better 😍😊🤗xx

I was on a very low dose due to pcos and also i had a cyst this month. I have 2 frozen and 2 fresh through the NHS sp hopefully Next time will improve xxx

The easiest way to carry on is look forward to the next step 😍😊🤗 Honestly the recovery from EC is more difficult from accepting the idea of not having a nut to transfer 🙊 I will have few busy days travelling around with my brother so will keep my mind away from ivf for a bit. But then will return full of power and positivity and ready for my next cycle 😍😊🤗xxx

This is very sad , I no you feel like you have put your body through the mill without anything at the end but this will give the hospital/clinic the information they need to make your next cycle better for you hun. Aw hunny I’m so sorry to read this, I know how difficult it is to not get to transfer. On my first round I only had 3 follicles and they were all empty, I was gutted, I know we know it can happen but it’s still so cruel when it does. I’m in for EC this Tuesday and we only have 4 follicles so I’m not feeling over hopeful that this round will go any better but only time will tell. Take some time out to get your head around it all and treat yourself to some tlc you deserve it 😘
