Any women who gotten pregnant with ivf with low egg reserve without multiple miscarriage or egg donation?

Feeling quite down today and pessimistic have been reading about so many women who have had multiple miscarriages with low amh or had to use donner egg to get pregnant that I'm losing hope and feel like I'm in for a lot of heartache

Hi Lynn, I’ve seen a few women on here who have had success. I know how disheartening it can be. Around 2 years ago my amh was 2.1 (so I expect it’s much lower now) & we also have a male sperm quality factor. We had 4 fresh rounds of ivf which sadly failed (over the 4 rounds only a total of 5 eggs were collected & of those only 1 made it to transfer which sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy). We made the tough decision to move onto donor eggs then (very surprisingly) before starting treatment I finally got a bfp naturally. I’m now 18 weeks pregnant. We take each day as it comes and won’t feel like this painful journey has a happy ending until we’re holding our baby in our arms. But I just wanted you to know that it IS possible to get pregnant with low ovarian reserve. I’ve heard that many ivf couples stop having sex but I’m so glad we stuck with it (even on days where it just felt like a chore). I wish you every success xx

I know the low egg reserve situation feels like a hopeless battle at times, but some women do get lucky, it's not impossible. (but I'll agree its very hard!) much love to you xx

I had a low ovarian reserve for my age. But as I was still fairly young my egg quality was better. So even though only 2 eggs fertilised, the quality of our embryos was high. Although the first didn't result in pregnancy, I got pregnant a few months later after a FET of our final embie.

I don't have any experience of miscarriage thankfully but it was devastating when the first transfer was not successful.

Yes I did. I had low egg reserve and my partner has slow mobility. I was also 36 so a bit older. However we had icsi not ivf on the second round I had 2 poor quality embryos but back in and I am currently breastfeeding my 6 week old. It can happen even when you think there is no hope. Good luck my lovely with your journey xxxx
