Happy New Year to you all and hope 2019 brings lots of luck and baby dust. I've not been on here much following my miscarriage after IVF last year which, like everyone else sadly going or gone through the same it hits you hard. Full admiration for those who go through IVF time after time, I decided after last year which was my 3rd miscarriage I couldn't go through it again. After several tests whereby I was told nothing was wrong, just bad luck and told my only chance of being a mum was through doner eggs and going abroad, I came to terms with the fact that I'll never be a mum and moved on with things. Fast forward to October 2018 and I find at the age of 42 I'm pregnant naturally (I'll be 43 when baby born).
15 weeks now and the NHS are being really good and keeping a close eye on things. I had HCG injections for the first 12 weeks and then been recommended low dose aspirin from 12 weeks onwards. Whether these 2 things have made a difference who knows but so far so good.
Just wanted to share my story and hopefully give others hope. I know I'm one of the very few lucky ones but it just proves that miracles do happen and never lose the faith.
Best wishes to you all, Louise xx
