This is Iris, she was born on Friday the 23rd on her original date the clinic gave us. Weighing 8lb.

I thought long and hard before posting this as in the past seeing pictures for me was super difficult so I really do not want to offend or upset any.

Just to say I know I was super super lucky to conceive on our second attempt at icsi and will never be able to thank my ivf clinic enough. But during both rounds my egg numbers were so low it really didn’t look good. But Miracles can happen and although we have no eggs stored for the future I am one lucky and grateful person.

Honestly there really is hope. As I said,we only had 2 eggs and no fertilisation on round one. With round 2 and loads changes to meds’ we still only had 6 eggs, went down to 4 then by day 5 only 2 which we were told were not great quality and now we have iris. Good luck I so mean that everyone on here has been through so very much and everyone deserves this xxxxx
