Nearly 5 weeks but still no symptoms..?

I feel like I should feel something by now but I just feel to normal to be pregnant. The hospital confirmed I was on Tuesday but I feel so normal. Shouldn’t I at least have sore boobs by now? X

My sister is currently 13 weeks pregnant and she feels the same. She said she is shocked because she expected to feel sick or have sore boobs etc. Some symptoms but she has had none at all, she had her first scan last week and baby is fine happily bouncing around. So it can be fine to feel fine, if your ever worried though talk to your midwife they are there to support you xx

I think in most pregnancies symptoms don’t typically kick in until 6-8 weeks. I know you’re desperate to feel them, to feel pregnant, for it to feel real, but don’t panic that you haven’t experienced any yet.. my best friend didn’t have any at all through two pregnancies xx

Thank you. It still doesn’t seem real. I just want to feel something so I know there’s something happening in there. I was pregnant on Tuesday when I had my blood test anyway so the little “seed” should still be nestled.

I don’t want to sound like I’m moaning over nothing. I feel so lucky. It just doesn’t seem quite real enough yet xx

Lots of people feel nothing or just slight symptoms that they could put down to other things. Please try to enjoy not having fatigue, sore boobs or sickness. I think it shows you are keeping well hydrated and getting the right nutrients.

Good luck and enjoy your pregnancy (so hard for anyone to do but we must say it 😉) xxx

Just enjoy it! Living life in a permanent state of nausea is not fun :( Your body is probably just dealing with the hormones very well! As they increase you may start to feel different so relax for now as the tests have come back positive :)

Good luck with the pregnancy - enjoy!

I didn’t have any symptoms until 6 weeks onward and then I just felt hot and craved salt. Nausea kicked in around 7 weeks and was horrid so don’t wish for that!

Enjoy the time when you feel normal.

I’m 19 weeks and have had basically no symptoms except being tired a bit earlier some nights. Just enjoy that you are feeling so well 😊 xx

I’m just over 5 weeks and I think the main symptoms I’m getting are from the pessaries 🙈 bloating, slight constipation, and tiredness. Altho I now think some of the tiredness could also be more pregnancy related? I would agree with the other ladies and enjoy the fact you have no symptoms...yet. ☺️

Thank you all for the reassurance. I know, I should think myself lucky I’m not sick. I think it’s just without symptoms it feels less real. I have even got my skinny jeans on today which I know I should be making the most of it! 😂

I think I just need my scan to see for myself what’s going on in there 💕 Thanks all xx

Now you're just showing off - skinny jeans! Haven't fitted into those since I started IVF 🤣

I look 5 months pregnant and I'm not even confirmed preggers (yet! Hopefully)

I think if your body is producing high levels of hormones people often get side effects but the normal range can vary persn to person

It's not to say you are deficient but you are possibly not experiencing overloads which is great.

I actually felt brilliant on my first round of IVF meds when others feel really sick so we all differ

Good luck for your scan xx

Thank you for your message. I actually haven’t put those jeans on in weeks as I feel bloated now 🙈 I had my scan just over a week ago so I know there’s a little heat beat 💗 in there. Still feels surreal without a proper bump though but I am starting to relax now I have seen for myself.

When can you test? Xx

My daughter had tried for 3 yrs so when she became pregnant she was like you for the first 8 week but then he sickness kicked in and the tiredness so you maybe like her shenow has a 3 wks old baby girl xx

Hi Kirstyblue

I just wondered if you’re experiencing symptoms yet? Im 6 weeks and barely have any! I guess you’re about 8 weeks now?

As much as I hear morning sickness, sore boobs etc are awful I almost want them to ‘feel’ pregnant 😂

Xx

I’ve just turnt 9 weeks. I haven’t had any sickness, just the odd moment of feeling “off” and very fussy with food. My appetite has completely changed. Apart from that though, and tiredness, I’m feeling fine.

I know what you mean though about wanting to feel pregnant. Have you got a scan in a couple weeks? I had my scan at 7-8 weeks so I know there’s a little heart beat in there but it still doesn’t quite seem real to me yet x

I actually have my scan tomo!

Since my message to you I’ve started to have a bit of nausea which has reassured me a bit. I’m also incredibly tired all the time.

Great to hear that your scan showed things were good. I’m sure we’ll both get more symptoms we should probably enjoy feeling mire or less ok while it lasts!

Have a lovely Xmas x
