Hi ladies I need advice

I'm on my 1st cycle. My 1st scan showed 4 follicles and my lining 3.5mm. 2nd scan showed 1 follicle after stimmg for 6 days and my lining was 3.8mm although she originally said my lining was 5.8 then she changed her mind. Can I loose follicles??

I read about people being given something to thicken lining too but I haven't been offered that?

Just wondering what is thought are on this? Xx

I don't think you can loose follicles that quickly. How long was there between the scans? Usually the scans throughout are to monitor how you are responding to the meds and tgey will afjust accordingly. My follicles are usually very small and they have to magnify a lot to see them. It may be that your others have yet to respond as well to the protocol you are on. The clinic will advise - possibly up the meds. Hope it goes well. Xx

I didn't think so either. I'm wondering if the max amount of drugs wasn't a good idea. There was a week between the scans and they want me back in on Monday and they said they would expect to see progress by then. I'm worried the abandon the cycle too soon. When wer you given prognova ? Xxx

I have progynova for my donor egg fet cycles. Usually start on day 1-3 Of period x

On fresh cycles I didn’t take my pessaries till after egg collection.

Hi ama4. You don’t normally lose follicles, but they can be slow growing. Going to have to wait and see if Monday brings an improvement. Fingers crossed. Diane

Try to remember, if it does come to that, that it would be for the best. They would have learned a lot from your responses to the drugs etc and will be able to adjust accordingly next time for more success. But don’t worry about that for now xx
