Are you on day 3 or 5? I would personally put the 2 back but its a big choice as you need to consider whether you could cope if you had twins. The other thing is if you are only on day 3 both or 1 might not make it to day 5. We had 2 good embryos on day 3 and some others slightly behind and because of this we never got offered day 3 transfer which I did request as I knew the others wouldnt catch up and wasnt allowed an on transfer we only had 1 to transfer. Good luck with what you decide!xx

It would be a day 3 transfer for 2, having twins would not be an issue it's just I wouldn't want one good ones chance compromised by a poorer egg, this is the third time and my anxiety is through the roof, the decision is harder than ever somehow, thanks for your response it means so much support right now to me.L

I would be asking If they are of similar quality then go for it then or that's my view anyway....I dont think they would transfer a really poor one to be honest! Also its always good to get the embryologists view even if you have already made your decision!xx

I would personally say 100% go for both back...I had this exact same worry about would they affect each other if one was poorer quality? So I had a good chat with my consultant who I trust implicitly, and he reassured me that the embryos are so tiny and are independent in their own media from the IVF process that the chances of them having any effect on each other are miniscule. And when they're actually in the uterus it's a massive space comparible to how tiny they are. So it made my decision clear to put two back. I hope this makes sense, and hope this helps you in making your decision. All the very best and lots of love and lucky baby dust to you xx

I’m 43 and had 2 back in3dt xx good luck xx

Do you know anything about their quality? I think that your clinic will advise to put 2 back regardless of quality though. Good luck xx

It's a tough one. I woukd personally put two back if they are the same grading. And 1 if they are different.

Wishing you loads of luck.xxx

I will soon be on third FET attempt and as my previous two didn’t work (one mmc and one clear bfn) we’ve decided to transfer 2embies this time, this is my choice. Good luck XX
