Just had a call i wasn't hoping to get.
My last remaining frosty didnt survive the thawing process.
Am absolutely gutted. This last 5 weeks of preparation have been a complete waste of time.
Im angry upset and totally at a loss.
Im gonna have a break now from the IVF and start enjoying my life again. Weve booked to go on holiday next month so will get some well deserved r and r.

So so sorry to read this 😞 this process is so bloody hard. Don’t think of the last 5 weeks as a waste, you’ll come out the other end of this a stronger person. A break and some time away will be just what you need, hope you and your OH enjoy the time away together. Sending best wishes xx
I’m sorry. We lost one when we only had two left last time and I was really really upset so I know it must be much worse for you. I hope you can enjoy doing “normal” things for a while and that you have a great holiday! You deserve it xx

Definitely would agree that having a break and a holiday to look forward to is the best thing to do in your situation. I had 5 good quality embryos not thaw and every time I prepared for transfer to be told it was cancelled was just disheartening and seemed so cruel! I had a few month break and enjoyed the odd night out before started on round 2.

Thank you all for your kind words. It does mean a lot to me. I know each and everyone one of you have your own battled to face.
I feel empty and lost. I should be nurturing my embryo willing it to grow but sadly it wasn't ment to be.
Im going to book my follow up appointment. And hopefully try again sometime in the new year.

Hi just wanted to say I'm sorry to read this and sending you lots of hugs. I experienced something similar to this last spring when i had prepared and started to take loads of medication and also prepared mentally for a transfer and then the cycle had to be cancelled.
It sounds as if a holiday is just what you need and hopefully you will be able to switch off from IVF for a bit.
