Really disheartened today, about an hour ago started getting cramps like my period is on its way.
Was trying to be really hopeful this time as we had two excellent blasts transferred, we did assisted hatching (one of which was already hatching upon transfer), embryo glue and acupuncture.
I said to my DH that this would be our last try.
I really thought switching to embryo donation would be the answer.

Not tested yet, clinic advised testing on Thursday but was going to wait until the weekend as didn't want to go in to work on negative test and wanted to do it with hubby.
Think I will test tomorrow morning to make sure now.
Ah I see, if there is no blood then it may be best to wait and if you do get some bleeding, again could still be a BFP, but I would call the clinic. cramps could be from progesterone I have read, but I have not had a BFP so couldn't say from experience. Try and keep hope, I know it is hard and all the best for when you do the test.
You're still in with a chance if you havent started bleeding and havent tested! Ive seen a few ladies say they felt their period coming before they got their positive. I cant comment as Ive never gotten a bfp although I can completely relate when you say that moving to donor would be the answer! Wishing you so much luck for test day!xx
Hi, I had two pregnancies one positive and my son is 3and half(ivf), other from FET this one was miscarried. For me cramping was a good sign particularly at night. Both times, I was bloated had some cramping sensation.
For me cramping without spotting or bleeding was a good sign. My pregnancy from FET was associated with spotting/light bleeding from 5th week onwards but I still got as far as 7wks and heard my baby heartbeat but this light bleeding worried me and after 7wks it was associated with lower back pain and cramps where I knew I will lose my baby...
I guess you can now test and get real results on tests. I hope you’ll get your positive results XX
Sweetheart I had what I thought was period cramping about 3 days before my period was due & was convinced my period was on its way! It was implantation cramps & it felt the same! I was 12 days after ovulation, so implantation could occur later. I’m now 8 weeks pregnant.
Good luck for test day hope it’s good news ✨✨✨🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 xoxo
When is otd? Mine is always 11dp 5dt. On my second bfp cycle I had all the symptoms of af, the cramping, the dull lower stomach ache and back ache. I tried to ignore it all day but broke down towards the end because it was stronger and I couldn’t ignore it anymore. Hubby still had hope. I almost took my test a day early and drank wine to drown my sorrows but hubby convinced me not to. Next day I got my bfp. Until af shows hold onto hope xx
Bless u hope it not that. Cud be a good sign. I am going through exactly the same. I so feel like I am just starting to and have had spotting. Oh it so hard this waiting and unknown. Best wishes to u xx
I had cramping on and off the whole time. As I was waking up to take my test I could have sworn I was about to start my period! To my surprise it was a BFP! Unfortunately for me it didn’t stick around and a week later resulted in a chemical pregnancy. but the cramping was obviously due to implantation 😊 good luck!xx
Don't give up hope. The symptoms of success and negative are so so very similar and different for everyone. Please keep us updated though. We are all rooting for your bfp xx
Well ladies, unfortunately as expected it was a negative.
Just so frustrating.
Really don’t know what to do next as we said this would be the last try, to date I have had 5 transfers, 3 with my own eggs and 2 with donated embryos. I’m 41 now and really don’t know what to do. Give it another go and possibly waste more money or knock it on the head and go through adoption.
