Egg collection updated 22/10

Hi everyone,

Hope no one minds me posting my win for the day. Just had a call from the embryologist to let us know of the 14 eggs collected yesterday 12 were mature and all 12 fertilised 😱. I cried down the phone I was that happy so she probably now thinks I am crazy.

Last time we got 18 eggs but only 7 were mature and 5 fertilised so I was worrying all night what if it’s less this time. Only 1 was a strong embaby out the 5 and we put it back on day 3 with another that had showed slight growth but they resulted in a BFN.

Now the worry for the next few days that they grow. Sorry if I’ve upset anyone with my post I just feel I can’t share my feelings with anyone else the now as we’ve kept this round to ourselves.

UPDATE - Just had a call from the lab and all 12 embryos are where they should be for day 3 with 10 looking like good quality. I can’t believe it compared to my last round! Don’t want to get too excited though just holding my nerve until Wednesday. Thanks for all your nice replies 😘
