My clinic said I could in the two week wait and we did it after a few days. Apparently it makes no difference and some research suggests it can improve implantation prospects. I know u don’t need help with this part now, but if ur ready for it, and it doesn’t hurt then enjoy yourself. The only thing is the darn pessaries they are bloody offputting - there’s no remedy for this xx

Without being tmi you may end up o’ing in your sleep anyway if u leave it too long - if u have a normal s drive.

It’s so important to maintain a healthy relationship and that’s includes the sexual aspect xx

I know you're question is applying to the two week wait, but when going through a donor cycle, is there any time you're meant to abstain from 'the deed' or use protection in the lead up to transfer?? I'm sure I remember during my last cycle we had to use condoms (last cycle was ivf with own eggs and not donor though) but is that something to do with the egg collection??

Sorry I have a memory like a sieve!! 😜

My clinic advise not to ‘do it’ in the tww and if you’ve had previous miscarriages to wait until your viability scan x

My clinic didn't state this but I would personally avoid in the 2ww. Xxx

My clinic said there is no risk at any time or in the 2ww so we did the day after transfer and we were successful (only 9 weeks) research says it can help with implantation and remember some people who fall pregnant naturally wouldnt even know at this point! Xxxx

My clinic says no to this....the advice was "complete vaginal rest"! Ha ha ha Clinics seem to vary with advice but its only a short time to hang off for so worth it!xx
