So we have two expanded blastocysts one day 5 and one day 6, we also have a day 5 cavitated blastocyst. All being kept safe on ice in Spain! They are all apparently 'very good quality' but don't really know the significance of this. Anyone had any experience with these terms? X

That's great.

It means they have a higher chance of working compared to a lower grade embryo although lower grade embryos still work too. Diane or other ladies will be able to explain better, my clinic grade in the same way though by using- poor quality, average, above average, top quality etc. Xxx

If all is okay with scan and bloods on 18th oct. Then transfer will be 23rd!cant believe how quickly things are now moving x

Thankyou. Do u know what's advised for travelling after transfer? We will probably fly back the day after, do you think this is okay?? X

I think I stayed for one day afterwards and then flew back to the uk the next. A week later I flew back to NZ so I don’t think it will make any difference to the result. X

This all sounds very promising, they do sound good! My clinic usually use the terms 4AA, 5AB etc but have a look these links, got some pretty good pics and explanations.....hope it helps.xx
