Yay am so pleased to say that my husband and I had our 12week scan today and all was well ππβΊοΈ. We so happy and canβt believe it in many ways after everything we been through.
Our lil dancer was measuring great, ahead of what we thought and had a good heart beat. No issues for once yayππ
We continue to have hope that this could be our time.
Please may this give you all hope that after 5years or trying and 2 1/2years of ivf that it can happen, it can. Really hope it can for u all too. We deserve it we do.
I can also stop my medication in a couple of days too ππ. Out of interest when others were told to stop their cyclogest and clexane or another blood thinner did you just stop or gradually reduce?? No one is telling me π€
Thank you all for ur amazing support as always. Couldβve got here without u all xxx

I was asked to gradually reduce the dose (they told me by how much) of progesterone and estradiol at 9 weeks and stopped them at the beginning of week 10.
Ahh thanks Hun. Cool that good to know. Hopefully my midwife will call back tomorrow and advise. Not got much left to wean down but hopefully all be fine. Eeee it is so great πππ
Aw lovely news and a great picture. So pleased for you. I have mine on Wednesday and Iβm terrified already.
Iβve got a timetable for stopping the Progynova and Progesterone and Iβm now down to one of each a day already, they are weaning me off over 2 weeks....although randomly I now need to start Clexane and take it for the entire pregnancy π€― xx
Ahh best wishes with urs Hun. I was so terrified for this one but all good. Sure hope urs is too.
Ahh thanks for ur input re drugs that good to know. Hopefully someone will advise me. Makes more sense to reduce down rather than just stop but we will see. Looking forward not having to do it though. Ah bless u clexane not nice but worth it a.
I had been told to just stop when I ran out at about 9 weeks. I had some cyclogest from my last cycle left though so I've been taking that still though! X
Congrats. Great picture. Weβve got our 12 weeks scan next Monday. π€π» such a nervous time. I was told I can stop my progesterone as soon as they run out after my scan and donβt need to cut back on them slowly. Hope your feeling well xx
Hey. Thank u. Oooh best wishes for next week. It an exciting and nerve racking time. Thanks for letting me know re progesterone think be doing that too ππ. Xx
Aw, that's great news. Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes nice and smoothly. I came off progesterone gradually over weeks 9 and 10. It was so nice not to have to fiddle about with pessaries any more!!
Thank u. Yeah def look forward not to have to take them esp early morning ones. I can have a lie in yay Yep aiming for a smooth rest of pregnancy. Sounds good to me βΊοΈππ€
Firstly - congrats. Very excited for you. I planned to wean myself off the meds - think you understand the paranoia! But actually forgot after a couple of days and ended up just stopping. Your body should fully be supporting the baby now. Make sure you're happy with the vitamins etc that you're taking.
I'm. Due to stop my cyclogest tomorrow at 8 weeks pregnant, but I'm too scared too. I wory that if my progesterone lowers, something will happen. We're you advised to keep taking it to you 12 week scan?
I have my first midwife appointment on Thursday, so hopefully she can advise. Everything is such a worry!
It is scary I know but sure all be fine and lots of ppl do and all ok. Know they say that body and placenta takes over. Hope all goes well with midwife and able to reassure you. All is def a worry. So hope all goes ok Hun xx
Aww lovely news so pleased for you, I hope you can now βrelaxβ a bit more now you reached this huge milestone, as for cylogest I just stopped at 12 weeks your body should be producing sufficient progesterone itβs good to take till 12 weeks more as a safety precaution (for early weeks.) i didnβt take clexene so cant comment on that. All the best with your pregnancy hope all goes well xxx
Ahhh wonderful news π So happy for you!! Mine was on Friday and all was well.. such a relief, but the fear doesnβt go completely. Iβd already stopped the progesterone at 10 weeks, but didnβt take clexane. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! xx
Many congratulations!ππππππππππ - the best thing in the world is to hear your baby's heartbeat ππππ. And then to feel them move: mine is doing her best to make her presence known ππππ. The very best with the rest of your pregnancy!
I was told to reduce my Progynova and Cyclogest pessaries at week 10 and stop completely at week 11 as placenta would then take over.
Continuing with my folic acid, advised by Dr to take Vit D and also advised by midwife team to take asprin from week 12 as I hit 2 of the triggers - age and first baby!
Congratulations!!!! Thatβs fantastic news πππI was told to gradually reduce the dose but I canβt remember how. Maybe you should check with your clinic. I wish you all the best with your pregnancy xx
Hi dreamingofbaby, congratulations!! I'm so happy for you! I stopped clexane around 11 /12 weeks and I'm currently taking Fragmin until 28 weeks when I'm thinking I'll switch to baby aspirin instead. Don't want to take the risk of anything going wrong! NHS have supported our decision to stay on clexane/Fragmin. I did get my consultant to advise continuing with the blood thinner until delivery. Good luck and try to enjoy the next 6 months!
