Your friends are wrong to tell you that you won’t get pregnant for thinking the way you do although they probably mean well. Maybe they don’t understand the success rates of ivf, that it has a roughly a 1 in 3.75 chance of working. There’s nothing wrong with hoping it will work but there’s nothing wrong with having a back up plan either. It’s called self preservation xx
It's understandable. All we go through so much and yet there are no guarantees.
You feeling negative won't cause a negative outcome so don't worry about that.
If you can though and for your own well-being, trying to think more positively may help you. That's hard I know.... I had a bfn recently and through the FET process I was up and down. One minute I thought it's worked I'm pregant and the next minute I was convinced it hadn't worked.
We're all different and react differently to the stresses of ttc.
Don't worry too much about what others say, they're not walking in your shoes.
I read this prior to our second cycle and it really helped change my thinking!
Ill never know of it was that or pure luck that caused that cycle to work but I'll be forever thankful that i read it first 😍 Now to apply it to the rest of my life that's in need of a little positivity...!! 😬 xx
I know how you feel, I've got to wait until Saturday to test and I keep thinking itll be too good to be true if its positive so surely it won't be. I'm trying my best to be positive but it is like a rollercoaster. Sending you lots of love and luck xx
