Well, as the title says, our first round of ICSI which we started all the way back in April, has ended in a negative.
Despite having a top grade embryo, perfect lining and everything looking textbook (and spending hours on acupuncture / meditation, as well as no booze, healthy eating etc), it hasn’t worked - I wish I knew why.
The hormones are so cruel as gave me all the symptoms under the sun (although I was sceptical). Did have a feeling it didn’t work though as had some quite painful cramps from around 7 days in. No spotting though.
We’re both devastated but just need to look forward to a bit of normality for a couple of months before we try again.
My blood test is on Tuesday, going to see if I def need to do that as the two tests today were SO negative, it just feels like extra trauma for no reason. Will continue the hormones until I speak to clinic tomorrow.
Then I will drink a vat of wine. Wishing everyone else luck on their journey. Xx

So sorry to read this. Hope you can take some time to rest and take care of yourself. Sounds like you did all the right things so at least you won't be looking back wondering 'what if'.
Oh I'm very sorry to hear 😓 stupid BFNs are truely awful! Especially when we have sacrificed so much, and have done everything right. I'm so very sorry, look after yourself during this sad time 😟 enjoy that vat of wine You deserve it! Xxx
Sounds like most of my bfns too; textbook. I think the not knowing why is very frustrating but I think sometimes they just don’t know why. I’m sorry for your bfn. I hope you enjoy your wine and some normality xx
Take good care ❤️ So sorry. X
Really sorry for your BFN so awful. Definitely enjoy the wine 🍷 xoxo
So sorry to hear this, unfortunately it is so common for first cycle to fail and a lot of us would need more than one. It’s really good news everything was textbook and 🤞 for next time. Sending hugs x
I'm so sorry, the BFNs are just so cruel when you've done all you were meant to do. Sounds like you have a good plan to wind down in order to ready yourself for the next one! Enjoy the wine xxx
