I had my OTD today and had a bfp this morning, went to collect more drugs from the clinic and was surprised they did not do a blood test and just said to come back on the 22nd Oct for a scan, I thought this was quite long away so might visit the early pregnancy clinic closer to the time lol. For now it's still a positive so stuff them lol.
I will take a back seat from posting but will pop in to help others. I hope you all get our your miracle, I will continue to fight for IVF warriors, to get as much extra support and funding for all. Good luck evetyone xxx

It's all a bit surreal from daily monitoring to "Ok, so we will see you in a few weeks then" isn't it. Congratulations and I wish you all the best for your pregnancy and beyond xx
Thank you. Best feeling in the world. Makes it all worthwhile ❤️ i couldn’t stop staring at the test , haha I couldn’t get bored of looking at it 🤣 xoxo
Hi Sammy congratulations on your BFP. My clinic don't do blood tests just the pregnancy test at home and then book you in for viability scan. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy xx
My clinic don't do bloods either, just a viability scan at 8 weeks. It's hard to wait but hopefully all worth it 😁 If you do decide to go for an early private scan make sure you're far enough along that they can detect a heartbeat/see something, otherwise it could cause you unnecessary stress. Good luck and congratulations - fantastic news xx
Thank you for your advice, yes that would be difficult having it too early. An IVF calculater said I am 4+5 today so going from that the clinic want to scan at 8+1 so I was thinking of having a scan at 7+4/5 so my partner can be there for the first one as he won't be able to make the 8+1. Xx
My clinic didn’t do blood tests either and I didn’t have a scan until 8 weeks which felt a long ole wait. But my morning sickness kicked in early four days after my positive test so that kept me knowing I was pregnant. Also sore breasts and extreme tiredness will soon start to reassure you that you really are pregnant too. Congratulations and try not to worry too much whilst you wait for that scan (easier said than done).
