Hi Folks!
We have our coordination appointment this week. Any advice for the same? Does the treatment immediately begin or there could be some waiting time?
Thanks & Regards!

Hi
I had to wait some before starting treatment, with Christmas period(my clinic closed over Christmas) last year it took around 5 months plus I had to lose some weight.
I would say a healthy balanced diet, lots of protein and my clinic advised to take folic acid and vitamin D3.
Good luck xx
Hi KSS_18. Good to hear that everything seems to be progressing for you. Often a first appointment with the nurse involves further blood tests being carried out to check for HIV, Hepatitis, and chlamydia. Probably check out your hormones again including AMH. A further semen analysis ordered if any problems with the last one. A chat about giving yourself injections, plus when these will start. Then there will be some legal paperwork to fill in, which you may have to take away for GP to sign. You might be invited to an open evening to learn all about the process from start to finish, although this is not always offered. An internal scan of your ovaries may be done too to check for any cysts on your ovaries. Arrangements may also be made for you to have a laparoscopy or an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) to check your tubes if required. Can’t think of anything else, and they are my thoughts, so there could be some variation. Wanted to say good luck with it all, and hope all goes OK. Diane
Thanks alot for your replies!! It's very kind of you guys!
So basically, I am through with the scans, xrays , HSG. They say everything is fine to proceed. Our Consultant has now referred us to the IVF centre for Coordination appointment. We visited the ivf centre and they have booked us for an appointment this week and handed us with a bunch of form to fill in and bring along.
