I would like to know if anyone opted for a super healthier diet post embryo transfer, for example did you increase antioxidants and do you think it helped to achieve a bfp?

I’m trying to eat healthy all the time. I have stopped all my antioxidants after egg collection. My acupuncturist advises to avoid cold food and drinks post transfer. I don’t think there is a definitive answer to this but it is certainly important to continue eat healthy and reduce processed food and sugar to minimum. X

Can I ask why you stopped the antioxidants? I eat healthy, organic food but unsure if I should continue my omega 3, vit c ect.,,

My nutritionist advised me to stop them. I think it was just a precaution. I definitely carried on with multivitamin with folate. I think I took omega 3 too, but it was last year so I can’t remember. Best thing is to ask your clinic.

Forgot to mention that I have also been taking probiotics. My nutritionist said that it helps with implantation.

I tried to eat protein like meat and salads and eggs, broccoli but as soon as I got pregnant I could hardly face meat and fancied more junk. My acupuncturist also said no ice or very cold drinks. Try to be healthy for as long as you can as there is a tendency to crave starchy foods when pregnant. Good luck.
