Well it was a bit of a meh appointment really, got offered all the bloods, but I’ve had most so just lupus and an antibody one, I asked if I could have a hysteroscopy under GA as I’ve not had one before, and when my appendix was removed around 3 years ago they found endometriosis in it, so thought no harm having a look inside, so they were happy to refer me and then that was it. So biopsy at the mo, hysteroscopy in 6 weeks, and then who knows?! A magic cure perhaps!😂😂 sending positive thoughts to everyone xxx

Sorry to hear it didn’t go as well as you had hoped for ☹️

Ie the endometriosis they should do a laparoscopy and check & treat it at the same time; you could have that with a hysteroscopy at the same time. Endometriosis can re grow & in different places and can hinder fertility ( mine does anyway). Some are lucky & it doesn’t it will depend where it grows & the severity. For peace of mind I’d ask for a laparoscopy & hysteroscopy.

Thanks Jess, funnily enough he said that if they find any, or it’s a bit “untidy” they’ll fix it which is good!

to be honest I’m not sure there’s anything there, but there’s no harm in ticking all of the boxes! I’ve never had any symptoms, apart from in the appendix so fingers crossed, I’m hoping the biopsy will tell us more, perhaps elevated NK cells as that’s pretty easy to treat! Xx

Good idea to get it all checked out. Wow only 6 weeks to wait. We paid private as didn’t want to wait on the nhs. Mine was normal but gave us piece of mind. All the best to you. xxx

I know I was pretty impressed with that!! We’ve been private for the past 4 rounds of IVF so I was surprised they offered me anything after my two free gos to be honest!! Thank you xxx
