Egg collection possibly Wednesday

Did anyone else feel uncomfortable towards egg collection? I’ve been told by work to go off sick as it hurts when I bend down x

Yes I felt just puffed up and bloated....I think it is normal to feel that way.

It lasts for approx 1-2 weeks afterwards. Just bloated and a dull ache but that’s cos your ovaries have been “prodded” as such. It’s all worth it at the end

I felt a bit better this morning but work r like o u can’t come in if u can’t bend down or lift etc x feeling a bit fed up

Yes, I think I took a few days off. I felt fine until after the anesthetic wore off and then I tried to 'get on with things as normal' and the pain kicked in. I couldn't bend, lift and felt miserable. Listen to your body, give it a chance to heal. It is normal. Rest will help. x

This cycle in the last 3days before ER I was particularly bloated & in pain. I couldn't bend down, sit or sleep well at all & got very sore & tired easily. When I went for ER they gave me paracetomal & advised it was due to the number of follicles I had this round. I was still bloated etc but was not in nearly the same amount of pain after. It was a huge relief to have them eggs removed, ill tell you lol! Xx
