Afternoon ladies, hope you're all ok

Just a little update really

I started taking Norethisterone on Saturday on Day 14 of my cycle

This is our first NHS funded cycle (Fresh) of IVF/ICSI

I've been spotting already which I didn't think would happen so soon & also have a slight headache near my eyes but guess that's because that's where the pituitary gland is

I should get my injections etc delivered tomorrow, a little nervous about starting those on 8th August as DF is on a late shift, so I'll either have to woman up & do it myself or get my Mum to just be there to watch me do it in case I do it wrong!

When at the Injection Teach I shattered the glass vial & slashed open my thumb, what an idiot!

Glad to hear things are progressing well, try not to panic about the injections to much (I know easier said than done) but once you get going with them they almost become part of your normal life. Lots of luck x

Thank you E! I think you're right I weirdly just want to get on with it so I can stop over thinking!

You are at a similar stage in cycle to me. I have my last noretherine on Wednesday then I am booked for baseline scan on 7th August so imagine I will start injections around then x this is my second fresh cycle! I still feel abit nervous even though I have done it before x

The whole process is nerve wracking isn't it! I had all my meds delivered yesterday & it's very overwhelming how many of them there are!

Good luck for your baseline scan!!

I think I'm a week behind you as my last one is next Wednesday
